The Chengdu J-20, also known as "The Mighty Dragon," is a stealth, all-weather, twinjet fighter aircraft developed by Chengdu Aerospace Corporation for the PLAAF. It is part of the J-XX program that began in the 1990s. The J-20 had its first flight in 2011 and was officially unveiled at the China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in 2016.

The J-20 entered service and began combat training in 2017. By 2021, 150 units had been produced. It is one of only three fifth-generation stealth fighter aircraft in operation, alongside the F-22 and F-35.
