Despite their intimidating reputation, Rottweilers can be excellent pets when socialized from a young age. Some are playful and goofy, while others are more reserved. Males can weigh up to 130 pounds. This breed is fiercely protective of its owners and other pets. However, Rottweilers are banned in many U.S. cities due to their reputation for aggression.
