Rottweilers are muscular, fearless, and highly intelligent dogs originally bred to pull carts and guard property. They are among the earliest herding breeds and are known for their loyalty and protectiveness. Rottweilers require plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and firm leadership. If neglected or improperly trained, they can develop aggressive tendencies, including biting and lunging. Their bite force, estimated at 328 psi, is significantly stronger than that of a human. Early socialization and consistent training are essential to ensure they become well-adjusted family members.
