27. French Mastiff

The English Mastiff is a giant breed, known simply as the Mastiff by the National Kennel Club. They need lots of energy and regular exercise. These dogs are robust and have strong protective instincts. Their size, huge paws, and a bite force of 552 psi can make them a threat, but with proper care, they are often gentle and reliable family protectors. They are best suited to homes without small children due to their size.
