7. Black Hawk UH/HH-60 Utility Helicopter: Versatility and Performance

Despite numerous challenges, progress on the KA-60 helicopter has been especially slow. After its official launch in 1998, this model remained in development for many years. The first prototype tests began in 2007, though the very first prototype was introduced in 1984. Ongoing engine problems and other technical failures required another decade of testing and modifications. Only in 2017 did the KA-60 make its first flight.
The KA-60 is designed for one or two crew members. It measures 15.6 meters (51 feet 2 inches) and can reach a top speed of 307 km/h (191 mph), making it a high-performing aircraft when fully operational.
