3. Yasen-class (Project 885)

Russia’s Yasen-class submarines are renowned for their blend of speed, stealth, and weaponry. Featuring a double-hull design, these nuclear-powered vessels can dive deeper than many Western counterparts. They are armed with eight torpedo tubes for modern torpedoes, anti-ship missiles, and supersonic cruise missiles. The Yasen-class boasts a spherical sonar array and advanced signal processing, enabling it to track up to 200 targets simultaneously. Its titanium pressure hull and advanced noise reduction techniques make it nearly as quiet as the most advanced Western submarines. It can also launch Kalibr cruise missiles while submerged, giving it significant strike capability.
