6. Alaskan Klee Kai

The Alaskan Klee Kai looks like a miniature Siberian Husky and is a relatively new breed. Their name means "small dog," and they are more domesticated than Huskies. These energetic dogs need lots of activity, just like their larger cousins. Developed in Alaska in the 1970s and 1980s, the breed was created to be a companion-sized version of the Husky. They come in toy, miniature, and standard sizes, standing 13 to 17 inches tall. Despite their size, they have many features of Huskies, including facial masks and various coat colors. Alaskan Klee Kai are smart, alert, and make excellent watchdogs. They can be shy with strangers but form strong bonds with their families. They enjoy mental and physical challenges like agility and puzzle toys.
