12. Insulate windows with bubble wrap

Drafty windows can make your home cold and uncomfortable in winter. To keep the warmth in, spray water onto the glass and press bubble wrap against it while it’s still wet. The water helps the bubble wrap stick, and the air pockets provide an extra layer of insulation. Your home will feel cozier, and you’ll save on heating bills, all with a few pieces of packing material.
