3. Bid farewell to stains.

Stains on clothes or hands can be frustrating, but potatoes provide a surprisingly effective solution. To tackle fabric stains, grate a few raw potatoes into a bowl containing 0.5 L (0.1 gal) of water. Let the mixture sit for 10–15 minutes, allowing the potato starch to infuse the water. Apply the potato water to the stain using a sponge, gently rub the area, and rinse with cold water. For food stains on your hands, such as those caused by berries or beets, simply rub them with a cut raw potato. It's an easy and natural way to keep your hands and fabrics spotless.
