9. Eliminating offensive odours from footwear

Placing your shoes in a cold environment can kill odor-causing bacteria. If possible, leave them outside or on a balcony. Otherwise, seal the shoes in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer. Keeping them there for a full day or two will help eliminate the smell completely.
